STILL ASIDE 61

Luca Ligotti

"For me, taking a picture always involves a process.
Subconsciously framing, composing and choosing objects while reacting to shapes and light.
Freezing that one moment in time, even if it’s something that is standing still at the moment like a building or mountain, but will look not 100% the same if you visit it again.
Freezing a moment, so you will archive it for the future, save the atmosphere and emotions felt right there and are able to relive them, even if you weren’t there.

So analogue photography is the perfect medium for all of this, because it forces you to slow down, take a second look at your composition and offers me the opportunity to really try and capture the emotions and atmosphere felt at this moment."
